Kew is Cool!
I'm getting ready to go to the airport to get on the plane to come home, but wanted to share some last pictures and stories before we leave.
On Friday we went to Kew Gardens and had a great day. I played with some ducks, saw lots of pretty flowers (see the above photo of me with the roses), sat around in a tree, saw a Pagoda, ate ice cream and I managed to go the whole day without a nap and wasn't all that tired at 11pm when we went to bed! Tee hee. We rode on a bus and two trains. It was lots of fun.
At night we came home to Tia's house and had a very yummie vegan dinner. I watched lots of Peppa Pig - I love her!
I had a great trip and according to my mommy, I have been a very very very good girl. Of course! I'll give em hell when I get home. Heh heh.
Grammah and Grampy, Bubbie and Papa, I'm comin' home!! Anyone want to go to the Disneyland store tomorrow???
Here's my last Cheers in London - til next time, mates!
Cheers,
Jocelyn

London bridges...
On Thursday we went to see the Tower of London and the actual London Bridge from the song. Thank goodness the bridge didn't fall down! It was actually quite large and pretty cool. The weather was great and perfect for site seeing. This photo sure shows how pooped I was at the end of the trip. I fell asleep on the tube coming home.
There are so many stairs in the city, especially on the tube, so as you will see in this photo, I had to be carried like a queen. I loved it. Every time we would get to the stairs I'd scream "help, help" & everyone would come running to carry me.
We had one minor mishap on Thursday when June suddenly went missing. I thought she had been lost forever and started to cry - but then my Vovo went running after her and found her in the midst of a hacky sack attack by some older boys. Having no fear, my Vovo swiped the doll from them and gave them a piece of her mind. I have never seen her so upset before! Thank goodness, she saved the day. Luckily June only has a few scratches on her and should recover completely.
Mom and dad went out with Tia and James on Wed. to a traditional English pub and did some "pub crawling"-- not sure what that means, but it sounds like they had fun.
Thurs pm some of James' family came to visit and we had a nice dinner. I had pizza and it was quite yummy.
I'm very sad that today is our last full day in London. I am having such a good time and it's sad to see it coming to an end.
I may not have time to post any more until I get home on Saturday night - but there will be many more pictures to come, so stay tuned!!!
Cheers,
Jocelyn

More fun from London!
Today we went to central London and saw so much stuff. Big Ben...Parliament...The London Eye (a huge ferris wheel that mommy and Vovo were too chicken to ride...but I did!) -- and lots more. We walked all along the Embankment, rode on a carousel, went over a cute bridge and had lunch at a cafe. It was a little girl's birthday so I stopped by to sing and wish her a happy birthday.
All I really wanted to do when we were downtown was ride on a double decker bus. They looked so cool - so finally, just after we saw the biiiiiiiiig clock, we rode on the big bus. It was so cool.
I have been a very good girl and mommy and daddy say they are very proud of me. I like london, so why not? Tonight I'm hanging out at Tia's house so mommy and daddy can go out with Tia and James. My vos are going to babysit so I wonder what fun things we're going to do... tee hee hee hee.
Cheers,
Jocelyn
Princess Jocelyn has arrived
We had so much fun yesterday at Leeds Castle (www.leeds-castle.com\). I saw lots of ducks, lots of pictures of all of the Queens and Kings of London...as well as a Joust! It was cool. For dinner we had Indian food. I wasn't very fond of it, but I had just eaten a whole peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Yum!
I wish I had more time to tell you about it, but tomorrow I'll give you a full summary and tell you all about my day today in central London.

London rocks!
Wow! I'm having a blast in London mates (tee hee, that's "london" for friends).
It's been a lot of fun so far.
The airplane ride was awesome. I loved tricking my parents into thinking I was going to sleep, yea right! Even with the benadryl and no nap - I had no desire to sleep on the plane. There was so much to do. So many movies to watch - so many things to see - sleeping was not on the agenda. I finally got bored with the planbe about 45 minutes before we landed - and I closed my eyes for a bit - and before I knew it, we were in London! I guess daddy had to carry me out on his shoulder - but I can't really remember that.
When we got to London we went to pick up a rental car. Tia drove it and that was fun. I told her she was a good driver! I took a nap while we were waiting for the rental car. Vo held onto me while we waited.
When we got to Tia's house she had so much stuff for me. It was cool! Then we went out for pizza and I fell asleep again. We came home and I slept in the guest room. Then when I woke up I was somewhere else and I wasn't sure where. Then I saw mommy sleeping and daddy too but i didn't see Tia anywhere and I was scared. So I woke up mommy and daddy and they weren't too happy. So they let me watch some movies and the next thing I knew it was morning and I was thirsty!
We all got dressed and went on the 'tube' which they keep calling a "chube" here. it's just funny talk. we went to the museum of natural history and i saw lots of bugs and big dinosaurs. it was fun but we had to wait a long time in "queue" which is british for waiting in line. then we stopped and went to the "loo" which is the potty. That was fun. But there was poop in the potty and nI didn't like it. Eeeeew!
We hopped back in the tube and went to harrods and the big toy store and i got lots of peppa pig stuff. it was cool! everyone wanted to buy stuff for me. i love london!
We went to dinner at "Wagamama" (http://www.wagamama.com/) and I ate my whole dinner with chopsticks. It was a lot of fun.
Then we walked back to Tia's house and watched some telly (television) -- and had ice cream. YUM.
Tomorrow we're going to see a castle. I can't wait! But first...I'm bloody tired so
until then...Cheers!

Through the eyes of a child...
Everyone gets to hear mom and dad tell you all about their travel adventures, but rarely does a 3 1/2 year old have the chance to speak up and tell everyone about their experiences.
So come with me to London and experience what it's like to be a preschooler vacationing in a place where Spaghetti O's are called "hoops" - yoghurt is spelled wrong and people talk with funny accents. However, there is a McDonalds every block. This place rocks!
More journaling coming soon.
XOXO
